Surveying Engineers or Geomatics Engineers manage the global spatial infrastructure. They develop systems and equipment for gathering, analyzing, and using information about the earth. They work with digital mapping and global positioning systems, photogrammetry, remote sensing, as well as more traditional surveying tools.
