Hello, my name is Torren Brown. I am 12 year old. I’m in the seventh grade. I am very active in sports like football and basketball. I’m on the National Jr. Beta club also. Now I’m about to tell what my career path is going to be.

I want to be a doctor. The reason I think I want to be a doctor is because ever since I was 2 or 3 years old, I would go to the doctor’s appointment with my grandparents. I would see how they would always help my grandparents feel better. That’s how I think I was influenced to become a doctor. I truly enjoy helping people and putting a smile on there faces.

I know it will take a lot of years and hard work to become a doctor. I am willing to take the steps to getting my bachelor degree (4 year college) and then 3 years of medical school and then a year of internship at a hospital. Everyone says the internship hours at the hospital are very grueling and long. Right now I’m leaning toward Morehouse School of Medicine, but I still have to research great schools like Howard University and John Hopkins School of Medicine.
